SWFD IMPACT FEE PROCESS
Until further notice, SWFD Impact Fees shall be submitted electronically or by mail.
The South Walton Fire District acknowledges the need to maintain secure working facilities for the safety of our personnel during these ever-changing times. However, we also understand the important role of our construction industry as it helps shape the future of our community.
Instructions for submitting impact fees are listed below.
1. The customer shall submit a completed copy of the Walton County Application for Building Permit to email@example.com or by mail to:

2. Incomplete or illegible applications shall be returned to sender. To obtain the Walton County Application for Building Permit please contact the Walton County Building Department at 850-892-8160 or visit their site at https://www.co.walton.fl.us/74/Building-Division.
3. Please note that impact fees are processed in the order they are received. Once the required documentation is processed, the customer shall be informed of the amount due by phone or email.
4. An impact fee receipt will be emailed to the customer.
IMPACT FEE SCHEDULE
Single Family Residential/New Structure
Under roof - 2000 sq ft and under is $500 via check or $520 via card.
Over 2000 sq ft under roof is $0.25 per sq ft via check or $0.26 per sq ft via card.
Single Family Residential/Additions (no minimum)
$0.25 per sq ft under roof via check or $0.26 per sq ft via card
Commercial/New Structures – Including multi-family
Under roof - 2000 sq ft and under is $1500 via check or $1560 via card.
Over 2000 sq ft under roof is $0.75 per sq ft via check or $0.78 per sq ft via card.
Commercial/New Structures – Additions (no minimum)
$0.75 per sq ft under roof via check or $0.78 per sq ft via card
